Tantalus Manor

Tantalas Manor is a multi-family apartment building jointly owned by Squamish Community Housing Society (Housing Squamish) and Hiy̓ám̓ ta Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Housing Society (Hiy̓ám̓ Housing). Tantalus Manor is currently fully tenanted with no vacancies.  

Tantalus Manor is a 3-storey, affordable 40-unit multi-family building that provides secure, stable housing for seniors, families, and essential workers in a neighborhood that has proximity to schools, transit, and other amenities.  Tantalus Manor was jointly purchased by Squamish Community Housing Society and Hiy̓ám̓ ta Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Housing Society (Hiy̓ám̓ Housing) in 2024 with a goal of preserving stable, and affordable rental homes in the Squamish Community. The building contains a mix of studios (4), 1-bedroom (6), 2-bedroom (27) and 3-bedroom (3) units.

Founded in 2019 by Squamish Nation Council, Hiy̓ám̓ ta Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Housing Society is the not-for-profit organization responsible for building and managing affordable housing for our people.

Tantalus Manor is centrally located centrally-located at 1098 Wilson Crescent in the Dentville neighborhood of Squamish. It is a short walk or bike from Downtown Squamish and adjacent to schools, childcare, bus transit, and other amenities.
