Description:
Whistler Adaptive has many behind-the-scenes projects that require volunteer support. Some of these projects include online support, graphic design, and volunteer recruitment fairs. Whistler Adaptive will provide funding for ongoing professional development, training and certification upgrades for the successful candidate as well as mentorship opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Data entry
- Photo Editing
- Graphic design
- Social media copywriting
- In-person volunteer recruitment and education
Requirements of the Role:
- High school student*
- Passion for adaptive sports and making a difference in our community
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Drive
- Able to sit at a desk for 1-2 hours
- Satisfactory criminal record check
Training:
- Training for administrative roles will be done in a mentor/mentee format, where volunteers will be working directly with the Executive Director, Board of Directors and other staff directly toward a common project.
